Paul is passionate about the body of Christ, the church, and believes that the local church, walking in obedience to Jesus and in humility before others, is the hope of the world. “They [the baptized Christians] devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)
Paul completed a BSc. at Huxley College of Environmental Studies Western Washington University. He holds a MDiv. from Regent College (Vancouver) and a Licentiate in Theology from Montreal Diocesan Theological College. He was reappointed in May 2006. His passion is the restoration of the diaconate within the Diocese and in Canada. John was elected Chair of the Association of Anglican Deacons in Canada in August 2006. He is also an active member of the North American Association for the Diaconate.
