Clergy At St. David's Anglican Church

The Reverend Paul Woehrle, RectorPastor Paul Woerhle

Pastor Paul Woehrle is married to Joanne and is the father of three children.  He has been priest and pastor at St. David’s since April 2002.   Prior to returning to British Columbia, he served in parishes in the Diocese of Montreal for 13 years. Paul is passionate about the body of Christ, the church, and believes that the local church, walking in obedience to Jesus and in humility before others, is the hope of the world.  “They [the baptized Christians] devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)

Paul completed a BSc. at Huxley College of Environmental Studies Western Washington University.  He holds a MDiv. from Regent College (Vancouver) and a Licentiate in Theology from Montreal Diocesan Theological College.  Paul also studied at Jerusalem University College (formerly The Institute of Holy Land Studies) with a focus in historical geography.  He has been actively involved with Anglican Essentials Canada since 1994, most recently with Anglican Essentials Federation.
