Missions at St. David's Anglican Church

 

St. David’s goal for missions is that all members take ownership of their commitment to the Great Commission by recognizing and utilizing their gifts to serve, with Christ’s love, in the community and the world.

 

Some of the ways St. David’s works toward our missions goals are:

  • by having an active Missions and Outreach Committee
  • by holding quarterly mission focus Sundays with guest speakers from the mission field
  • by holding an annual missions conference with displays and speakers from various mission organizations
  • by compiling a monthly mission prayer newsletter highlighting prayer needs of various mission groups and individuals
  • by providing regular financial support for several missionaries at work in various parts of the world

 

We encourage parishioners to experience missions first hand and many have responded to this call. Teams have visited Guatemala, Mexico, Haiti, South Africa, Uganda, Honduras, Fiji and Brazil.
